Requirements for processing documents

Documents of foreign candidates must be translated into Russian and notarized.

The validity period of a foreign citizen’s passport, which will allow a foreign citizen to cross the border of the Russian Federation, must expire no earlier than 18 months from the start date of the entry study visa. If you have a residence permit or other document that allows a foreign citizen to temporarily stay in the territory of a third country (different from the citizenship of a foreign citizen), this document must also be submitted in accordance with the established procedure with a notarized translation into Russian.

List of required document package for the preliminary consideration of candidates by the RUDN University Admissions Office:

  1. Your completed RUDN University application form with a color photo.
  2. Copies of educational documents indicating the subjects studied and the marks (scores) obtained on them. If the foreign citizen applying for training in educational programmes of secondary vocational or higher education, due to the peculiarities of the educational process in a foreign country, does not have a document on foreign education and (or) foreign qualifications, the document containing information about the results of the last certification issued to the foreign citizen by the educational organization in which he / she studies in the territory of the host country is provided.
  3. Copies of passport pages that the foreign citizen will use to cross the border of the Russian Federation, with a validity period of at least 18 months from the start date of the entry study visa (clearly readable pages containing the installation data for issuing an invitation).

List of required document package submitted by the applicant on arrival in Russia:

  1. Originals of educational documents indicating the subjects studied and the grades obtained on them. Documents on education must be translated into Russian. Depending on the country, education documents must be legalized. The procedure for legalizing documents is carried out before arriving at RUDN University in the country where the education document was issued. The need for a document legalization procedure and the type of legalization (apostille or consular legalization) check with the staff of the Foreign Students Recruitment and Support Department or on the website: http://nic.gov.ru/ru/proc/lega (information in Russian) or http://nic.gov.ru/en/proc/nic/legalize (information in English).
  2. Medical report of the absence of contraindications for training in the Russian Federation, issued by the official body of the candidate’s country of residence with a translation into Russian certified in accordance with the established procedure.
  3. Medical certificate of the absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS, issued by the official body of the candidate’s country of residence with a translation into Russian certified in accordance with the established procedure.
  4. Copies of the passport pages that the foreign citizen will use to cross the border of the Russian Federation with a notarized or consular translation into Russian. The passport must be valid for at least 18 months from the start date of the entry study visa.
  5. Copies of documents (diplomas, certificates, etc.) of winners of international and national (city and other) competitions and Olympiads.

Reminders for students studying at RUDN University on the contract mode 

  1. The contract is signed by the applicant in obligatory order, regardless of whether he / she has reached the age of majority or not. If the applicant does not reach the age of majority at the time of signing the contract for training, the contract is signed by the applicant’s legal representative (parent, guardian, trustee). According to this, the student and his / her legal representative must be present to conclude the contract. You must have personal identification documents (civil passport, identity card for military personnel). If the legal representative cannot be present when signing the contract, he (the legal representative) may entrust the right to sign the contract to a third individual who has reached the age of majority. In this case, the individual person must have the appropriate letter of attorney to act on behalf of the legal representative when signing the contract. The letter of attorney is issued in the notary office in accordance with the established procedure.
  2. The first payment under the Contract is made within 10 calendar days from the date of this Contract conclusion based on the invoice issued at the conclusion of the Contract. If the payment terms are not met, the contract may be terminated by the decision of the University. Payment for subsequent training is made by the Student in advance payments in non-cash form twice a year in equal shares for each academic semester (half-year) on the basis of the invoice. The account has a limited validity period. If the invoice is overdue, it is necessary to reissue the invoice. If payments under the contract are late, the University has the right to charge penalties. The terms of payment for training are specified in your contract.
  3. When paying, it is necessary to keep in mind that banks charge a commission fee - from 0.5 to 3% of the payment amount. For correct processing of payment documents by bank employees, the invoice form issued to you contains a sample of filling in the payment order. Please draw the attention of bank employees to this document.
  4. Invoices for tuition fees are issued at the request of the Student or his/her legal representative, and can also be transmitted, on request, by fax.
  5. The invoice can be issued either in the name of the Student, or to another individual or legal entity.
  6. An order for enrollment is issued only after funds are credited to the bank account of the University.
  7. The contract is issued at the request of the Student personally in the Commercial Department after signing by the University and registration. The approximate date of issue is 30 calendar days after its conclusion during
  8. the admission campaign, and 15 calendar days in another time.
