The summer school aims to provide a solid practical skills in monitoring, modeling and mapping urban soils and green infrastructure over different climatic and anthropogenic conditions. Lectures, seminars and practical skills’ training will address the impacts of urbanization through the monitoring and assessment of urban soils, design and maintenance of urban green infrastructure, and projects of sustainable urban development.
The main goal of the summer school is to gain knowledge and competence in the design and improvement of landscape gardens, urban land with the use of modern geodetic equipment and computer equipment.
The “Creative industries: the city, community, culture” program is a two-week long course, combining full-time and distance learning educational forms. It is the first Russia local-practices based course of further vocational education, revises the role of creative industries in the economy of the city and the social and cultural development of the local communities in the urban space.
Target audience: Professionals working in chemical R&D, industrial, and analytical laboratories, with a higher education in Chemistry or Pharmacy or related fields. Graduates and higher grade university or colledge students of the respective specializations universities are also fit for the program.
This unique course promotes the use of Russian and English skills through everyday conversation and increasing comprehension and fluency. Each day of the week is designed around a different theme, for instance: History, Commerce, Technology and Innovation, Art and Culture. Focused input in a classroom setting during the morning sessions prepares students for the afternoon trip that extends themes developed in the morning.
The aim of the program is to help students gain professional knowledge in the field of information modeling of buildings, visualisation and computer design, investment project management. Besides that, our summer school also lets participants see the whole beauty of Moscow (architecture of Moscow) and gives an opportunity to start learning Russian or to deepen ones’ knowledge for those who have previously studied this language.
