Our department offers in-depth coursework and diverse research opportunities that focus on understanding the modern trends in evaluation and treatment in urology.
Research in our department exposes our students to a variety of the latest methods of urological disease treatment and evaluation, including computed tomography interpretation, endovascular methods of treatment, transurethral cystoscopy, biopsy techniques.
The flexibility of our training program allows students to train in a number of exciting research areas, and often allows students to develop highly effective interdisciplinary collaborations, resulting in cutting edge thesis projects.
This research program enables the students to progress their understanding of urology to an advanced level and to contribute to the progression of research in this specialist field.
The practical skills, knowledge the students develop on this program will be vital to their study and transferable to research roles in industry. A structured program of training enables the students to enhance theirs abilities in scientific writing, critical thinking, quantitative research methods, clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of urological patients.
Urology is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs. The study of the discipline is organized according to credit-modular system using the appropriate laboratory equipment, computers, multimedia installations.
