Programme Focus

Masters in Arts and Humanities, specialty «Cultural heritage: study and management», are ready to solve scientific and research issues and to comprehend various phenomena of the world culture and art (including the cultural heritage of the Balearic Islands) in a scientific and critical way. They can solve research and managerial problems in arts and humanities in education institutions, offices for cultural affairs, mass media, museums, galleries. 

Educational process

The programme is designed for specialists with a higher education degree in humanities who strive to get theoretical and scientific and research skills in the latest educational technologies in cultural anthropology, cultural studies and history of the world art and to study the cultural heritage of the Balearic Islands.

Internship

During their professional internship the students take part in the real creative projects (including the international ones) of the leading cultural institutions and creative clusters of Russia: in museums (the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the State Tretyakov Gallery and etc.), in leading mass media and publishing houses («Interyer-dezain» and etc.), in theatres, advertising agencies, production centres, concert agencies, on TV and on the radio, in modern creative clusters of Moscow (Multimedia Art Museum, Garage Centre for Contemporary Art, Art-play Design Centre, the Museum and Exhibition Association Manege; Cultural centre «ZIL» and etc.), in public authorities of culture, in commercial structures and etc.

Career opportunities

After completing the Master’s programme the graduates can work in the practical sphere of culture and art as art managers, heads of social and cultural projects, curators of contemporary art, managers in culture and art.
