Unfortunately, dermatological problems are becoming more common; therefore, qualified services of dermatologists are in-demand. The competent help of a dermatologist allows to get rid of unpleasant sensations and defects of skin integuments that cause discomfort and negatively affect the appearance. Some dermatological diseases are contagious, therefore, in order to avoid infection of family members and surrounding people, you should immediately visit a competent specialist. The department trains specialists in dermatovenerology for various regions of the Russian Federation, CIS countries and foreign countries. Much work is constantly being done to train our own teaching staff from among young graduates of RUDN University, who have obtained the necessary specialization at the department and have experience of working with foreign students, postgraduates and doctoral students.
The educational residency programme "Dermatovenerology" is developed for people with higher medical education, aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases, venereal diseases and the study of the interrelation of these diseases with other pathological conditions of the body.
Medical residents are distributed to the units of the clinical sites of the department, where, under the guidance of professors of the department, they have the opportunity both to expand their knowledge and see its application in practice. Students analyze clinical events and this provides the opportunity to obtain a wealth of clinical experience during residency training
A graduate of the residency programme is a highly qualified specialist, who can apply modern high-tech methods of diagnosis and treatment and carry out therapeutic, diagnostic, research activities, engage in private medical practice. Graduates of the programme have the opportunity to work in public hospitals, private clinics, medical secondary schools, higher educational institutions of medical specialization, scientific organizations, polyclinics, consultative-diagnostic centers. Upon completion of the residency programme, the students have the opportunity to enroll in the postgraduate programme on the specialization “Skin and venereal diseases”.
