In Moscow, the winners of the All-Russian student architectural competition “Timeless. A moment of silence” got awards. The team of RUDN Engineering Academy took the 1st and 2nd places in the nomination “Small Memorial Architectural Form”.
The Third All-Russian Student Contest on Scientific Text Translation from English and German was held from March to May 2023. The competition format integrated various tracks on Humanities, including various branches of Law, Pedagogy, Economics, etc.
On June 8–9, 2023, the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Russian Language and Problems of Sociocultural Adaptation of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation" was held at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
At the student Olympiad in surgery named after A.D. Myasnikov, 250 students from 5 regions of Russia performed operations and answered theoretical questions on neurosurgery from the Bakulev Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery.
The conference in honor of the five-year cooperation between RUDN University and the Tashkent State Dental Institute was attended by 100 academics and students.
Students of the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of World Economy and Business of RUDN University became winners at the International Student Startup Competition "Business Generation – 2023" (Brest, Republic of Belarus). Among 23 projects from the CIS countries, two RUDN teams took the 1st place and won in the nomination "The Best in Business Controversy".
RUDN University students and young scientists from 11 countries took part in the XVIII International Festival of Youth Scientific and Technical Creativity "Ot Vinta" (Off we go) in the mountain resort of Rosa Khutor. Students of the Agrarian Technological Institute, the Institute of Medicine, the Institute of Ecology and the Faculty of Economics presented scientific and practical projects.
April 24–28, the III Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2023) was held in Turkmenistan. 282 students from 9 countries competed in the team and individual competitions. Mathematicians from RUDN brought silver to Moscow.
The First International Scientific and Practical Conference in Foreign Languages “Languages and Cultures. Translation. Interdisciplinarity. Multilingualism” was held on April 20. The event was organized by the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University.
RUDN and MGIMO students held three seminars for those who study French. The meetings were attended by students from 5 partner universities under the project of the Russian-French Network University.
April 20, RUDN Law Institute welcomed the participants of the conference "Languages for Peace and Partnership". This year the conference has acquired the status of international: 150 speakers from the universities of the Republic of Belarus, India, Spain, China, Turkey, France and Russia took part in it.
