The tourism industry at the present time is in need for those capable of strategic development of tourism, setting priorities in the development of tourism activities of the territories, forecasting, design and planning of tourism services at the city, regional and national levels. Organization and management of development processes of tourist clusters, tourist complexes, analysis of tourist services market, development and implementation of innovations in the tourism industry require special knowledge and competence.
The Master’s Degree educational program is designed to train up-to-date specialists with professional qualification, a wide general academic outlook, profound knowledge in the field of tourism, able to quickly adapt to the demands of a dynamically developing labor market.

Educational Process

The program is aimed at those who want to develop the skills acquired at the bachelor’s degree level, to learn how to independently and professionally manage enterprises and structural units of tourism industry enterprises.
Implementation of the program and competence building is provided by highly qualified academic and pedagogical staff and by the interaction with representatives of tourism industry in Russia and foreign countries.

As a result of mastering the program, Master’s students will acquire skills and abilities to solve the following professional tasks:
— to analyze, organize, and manage tourism activities at national, regional, and municipal (local) levels;
— to forecast, design and plan tourist activity services.
Upon completion, graduates can carry out their professional activity in tourism companies, tour bureaus, state administration bodies connected with organization of tourism, public and private companies engaged in tourism on the Russian and international levels.
