About the profession
Administration of social processes and management is one of the key directions in the sphere of administration of the state, public and private organizations. This direction is intended to form the managerial elite that ensures the interaction of politicians, civil society and business by developing a strategy and making decisions based on the use of innovative technologies.
The master's degree programme "Social processes and social management" is characterized by its interdisciplinary nature, which allows to consider the main problems of social management at the intersection of management sciences, sociology, economics and law. The programme is aimed at the structural study of institutional, procedural and organizational aspects of the phenomenon of social management, taking into account the latest achievements of national and world management.
The programme is interdisciplinary. Within the framework of the curriculum, a set of disciplines of the fields of study "State and municipal management" and "Sociology" is studied. Under this programme, a graduate student is trained to solve many problems associated with the practical implementation of the acquired skills and abilities, as well as focuses on fundamental theoretical research and further postgraduate studies in a wide range of humanitarian knowledge in the fields of sociology, political science, economics and law.
During the training, the undergraduate students receive qualified training, mastering the special knowledge that will allow them to effectively manage all spheres of the society's life: politics, economics, law, healthcare, education.
The organization of the educational process creates an excellent opportunity for combining graduate studies with the work by profession. Time of classes: 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm. The average workload is 8-14 hours per week.

The educational internship is an integral part of the educational process and an important means of combining theoretical training with practical activities. Graduate students of the programme "Social processes and social management" undertake the internship in the administrative offices of state, municipal and commercial structures in Moscow (State Duma, Moscow City Duma, prefectures of Moscow, international companies, private structures).
The places of application of the acquired skills are municipalities, district administrations, prefectures of Moscow, the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and other bodies of the federal government of the Russian Federation, research and analytical centers, private structures.
