Profession focus

Jurisprudence appeared in ancient times. It is from the time of antiquity that we know the goddess of justice Themis (Femida). In Russia, jurisprudence as a science arose in the XVIII century. Being a lawyer at that time meant being a practitioner in every sense of the word. Lawyers of Peter's time were engaged in systematization, ordering of disparate, contradictory acts. Teaching of legal science in Russia was started by German lawyers invited by Peter I, but already in the middle of the XVIII century law was taught by Russian legal professionals. Publication of the Complete Collection of Laws and the Code of Laws of the Russian Empire and the1864 judicial reform brought domestic jurisprudence to a new level. Currently, professional lawyers are extremely in demand. All branches of law are developing extremely well and the market needs highly qualified specialists.
