About the profession
Nowadays psychological problems of conversation and communication acquire special relevance. Since communication is not only the exchange of information, but also the ability to communicate, find an approach to the interlocutor and achieve the goal. This is important in everyday life as well as in business. After all, the wrong tone, manner of behavior, gestures, facial expressions, and social distance can affect the success (failure) of negotiation, signing contracts, etc.
An intensive immersion into the profession begins as early as in the first year of the study. In our difficult century, it is necessary to teach communication. In this way it is possible to solve set tasks, overcome stressful situations and find the right solutions in the most difficult situations. It is vitally important to train professional leaders who can easily manage individuals and groups of people.
The academic courses offered are those on General Psychology, Psychological Problems of Conversation and Communication, Methodology of Scientific Research, History and Philosophy of Science, Pedagogy of Higher School, Foreign Language.
The practical studies include acquaintance of the postgraduate student with the basics of high school pedagogy, the methodical work of the postgraduate student with the supervisor of studies and direct participation of a postgraduate student in conducting classes in one of the special disciplines.
Teaching in the field of psychology and related humanities; research activities in the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, universities of Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries; international centres and laboratories. Work as practicing psychologists and consultants in consulting organizations, firms and companies.
