Profession focus

The problems concerning the effecient life organization of a modern person in various spheres, his/ her development opportunities are determined nowadays by the realities of the economic, legal and social situation that has shaped in the global community and in Russia as well.

Today, a person is supposed to train himself “from the cradle” to act independently in such life conditions that a Russian citizen couldn`t conceive in previous times. Law is becoming a powerful regulatory tool of relations in the society and the state. It results in increasing the scope of the legislation in  the spheres that, under the previous mode of state power organization in our country were the exclusive prerogative of the state that made it impossible for citizens to act independently. The priority task for law schools is to teach a person who knows how to act in this vast scope of ​​legislation and use it to protect his own rights.

Learning process

Training at Master's program envisages the study of a wide range of social relations covering the scope of activities of various law enforcement agencies. The program is aimed at conducting relevant fundamental and applied scientific research on the issues of legitimacy, law and order, protection of human and civil rights and freedoms safeguard of state and society interests; judicial and prosecution bodies governance, other law enforcement institutions designated to ensure the implementation of the Constitution, laws and other legal acts.  Learning a foreign language is an essential requirement for the programme that aims at further master's degree thesis defense in a foreign language to obtain appropriate qualifying documents.

All disciplines are taught by teachers working at the same time at the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, other courts as lawyers and prosecutors.

Internship

Master students can apply theoretical skills participating in famous international student contests, international scientific and practical conferences, olympiads, etc.

Career

The knowledge acquired at the Master specialization "Judicial power, public prosecutor's supervision, organization of law enforcement activities, the Bar and notaries" may be applied when working at international organizations, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the European Court of Human Rights, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as by legal practitioners. The programme meets the needs of acting law enforcement officials, future lawyers and notaries.
