About the programme
The residency programme aims to acquire professional competences in the field of prescription and implementation of the acupuncture procedure, acupuncture lifting, micro-acupuncture, point massage and other methods of pinpointing the reflexogenic areas of the body, preventive health activities and treatment of diseases by influencing the biologically active points of the patient's body.
Training process
The educational residency programme "Reflexotherapy" is developed for people with higher medical education, aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of treatment with the use of modern methods of recovery, which are based on a local impact on the biologically active points of organ systems. Training is practically oriented and aimed at the formation of system knowledge and professional competences that allow conducting medical activities.
Internship
Medical residents are distributed to the units of the clinical sites of the department, where, under the guidance of professors of the department, they have the opportunity both to expand their knowledge and see its application in practice. Students analyze clinical events and this provides the opportunity to obtain a wealth of clinical experience during residency training.
Career
A graduate of the residency programme is a highly qualified specialist, who can apply modern high-tech methods of diagnosis and treatment and carry out therapeutic, diagnostic, research activities, engage in private medical practice. Graduates of the programme have the opportunity to work in public hospitals, health resorts, early treatment centers, private clinics, higher educational institutions of medical specialization, scientific organizations, sports organizations, treatment centers, research institutes. Upon completion of the residency programme, the students have the opportunity to enroll in the postgraduate programme on the specialization “Restorative medicine, sports medicine, exercise therapy, balneology and physiotherapy".
