About the profession

The residency programme aims to acquire professional competences in the development of individual rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities, determine the nuances of medical activities, such as a form of holding, type, scope and timing, social and professional rehabilitation issues. Socio-medical experts state the existence of disability, its group, reasons, timing and the beginning of the onset of disability. The specialist determines the percentage level of the loss of occupational capacity, as well as permanent incapacity.

Training process

The educational residency programme "Socio-medical expertise" is developed for people with higher medical education, aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the development of individual rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities.

Internship

Medical residents are distributed to the units of the clinical sites of the department, where, under the guidance of professors of the department, they have the opportunity both to expand their knowledge and see its application in practice. Students analyze clinical events and this provides the opportunity to obtain a wealth of clinical experience during residency training.
