World Politics: Conceptual Frameworks and Intercultural Interaction (with the CIS Networking University)
CIS Networking University
The project "CIS Networking University" was initiated by the RUDN in 2008. The project is supported by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states. The Consortium of the Network University includes 27 leading universities from nine countries: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine. The program allows to receive a global education taking into account the specifics of education in the territory of various CIS countries and is oriented to the formation of specialists of a new generation. The uniqueness of this project of the CIS Network Open University is the development and implementation of the ErasmusMundus program analogue within the framework of the common educational space of the CIS member states. The main goal of the project is to improve the quality and attractiveness of higher education, to strengthen cooperation and inter-university relations in higher education in the territory of the CIS member states. The program allows graduates to receive two diplomas - a diploma of the RUDN and a diploma of their university.
During the training, students receive an expanded knowledge of the general problems of modern global politics, international security, and the management of world processes, acquire skills in applied analytics of the international political profile with the expectation of the needs of both government bodies and representatives of the private sector of the economy that carry out international activities. Particular attention is paid to the English language in the program, without which today it is inconceivable to study primary sources and integrate into the world science.

Practices are held in the Foreign Ministry of the CIS countries, Embassies and representations of the CIS and foreign countries in Russia, research institutes of the Russian Federation and foreign countries, in international organizations, think tanks, commercial structures, etc.
The main professions, according to which graduates of the department work, are diplomats, international experts, analysts, international journalists, lawyers, economists, managers. As for the positions held, the range is quite wide: from the bank operator to the first secretary of the embassy. Graduates of the department work in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and CIS countries, embassies and consulates of Russia and CIS countries in the USA, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, China, Egypt, Syria, Sudan, Lebanon, Morocco and other countries, in diplomatic institutions of a number of foreign states, in international organizations, commercial structures, research centers, higher educational institutions of Russia, the CIS and foreign countries.
