Seminar “Periodic wave solutions in neural field mathematical models”
In the middle of the last century, a promising area of research in the field of the functioning of neural networks in the cerebral cortex began to actively develop. Research in this direction has a wide practical application. However, the functioning of brain networks remains an open question today.

Seminar “Effects and challenges of wireless sensor networks and internet of things in smart cities”
The Internet of Things (IoT) serves as a system interconnecting the physical world to the digital world and offers new opportunities for the advancement of smart cities. The exciting potential of IoT can contribute significantly to various aspects of smart cities and environment and technologies.

Seminar “Blockchain for Trustless Security of Critical National Infrastructure”
One of the key enabling technologies of smart cities is the Internet of Things (IoT). In recent years, IoT has developed into many areas of application including critical national infrastructure (CNI) such as transport, hospitals and power distribution grid. CNI systems depend heavily on IoT devices to perform autonomous actions or inform human decision makers.

Seminar “6TiSCH Tri-Layer Network Architecture for Energy-Efficient Offloading in Smart Industries”
The smart industry is a significant realization of the internet of things. IPv6 over time-slotted channel hopping (6TiSCH) is the new standard that has emerged as a promising technology for industrial communications. The demanding issues of smart industries include scalability, latency, and energy efficiency.

Seminar “Mechano-sensitive blood proteins and their role in cellular hemostasis”
Hemostasis is a complex systemic reaction of the blood to damage or inflammation of the vascular endothelium. This process consists of several stages, from which two main phenomena can be distinguished: platelet aggregation and blood plasma coagulation. Many proteins are involved in the initiation, regulation, and inhibition of these processes, for example, they accelerate fibrin polymerization, platelet aggregation and activation, chemical signaling, and the propagation of coagulation autowaves. Primary cellular hemostasis in arteries, arterioles and venules is based on platelet aggregation at the site of injury.

Seminar “The simplest model of cold plasma”
We consider the reduction of the system of Euler-Maxwell equations describing the so-called cold (electron) plasma to a one-dimensional case. This is the simplest system of equations capable of describing plasma oscillations and their breaking. It is interesting because it allows for analytical consideration.

Scientific seminar “Nonexistence of Nontrivial Weak Solutions of Some Nonlinear Inequalities with Integer Power Laplacian”
In this paper, we make modification on the results obtained by Mitidieri and Pokhozhaev on suffic/ient conditions for the nonexistence of nontrivial weak solutions of nonlinear inequality and system with integer power of the Laplacian with nonlinearity term of the form $a(x)|\Delta^{m}u|^{q}+b(x)|u|^s$.

Scientific seminar “Modeling of a propagation of fractions loaded with viscous fluid pressure”
To describe the initial stage of hydraulic fracturing, a three-dimensional model of curvilinear crack propagation is proposed, describing the main processes: fluid movement in the crack, deformation and destruction of the rock. The simulation is based on the numerical solution of two-dimensional equations of fluid motion in a narrow channel (lubrication equations) and three-dimensional elastic equilibrium equations, for which the methods of finite and boundary elements are applied, respectively.

Seminar “Solvability of integro-differential problem for a viscoelastic fluid”
The presentation is devoted to investigating the weak solubility of the alpha-model for a fractional viscoelastic Voigt medium. The model involves the Voigt rheological relation with a left Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative, which accounts for the fluid’s memory.
