DESCRIPTION:Dr. Howard Mielke is an expert at Department of Pharmacology\, Tulane University School of Medicine.  Dr. Mielke has been studying lead and its effects on health for over 40 years resulting in numerous publications. Dr. Howard Mielke is the creator of the Lead Lab project\, a not for profit initiative dedicated to helping communities with lead contamination in children's play areas. He is currently a faculty member in Tulane School of Medicine's Pharmacology Department and part of the Environmental Signaling Laboratory research effort.
