RUDN receives a delegation from Côte d’Ivoire

The delegates met with the head of the RUDN University, Vladimir Filippov, and representatives of educational departments to discuss issues related to inter-university cooperation. The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Understanding. After the official talks, the delegation visited the Mission Control Center of the Engineering Academy and the Institute of Innovative Engineering Technologies.

June 27, the guests discussed issues of promising cooperation with the directors of the departments of the Agrarian-Technological Institute of RUDN. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on viral diseases on the African continent, in particular, in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

The guests showed particular interest in possible cooperation with the departments of Agrobiotechnology and Agroengineering.

With great interest and enthusiasm, the delegation attended a meeting of the Dissertation Board on veterinary medicine to witness the defence of their compatriot, graduate of ATI majoring in Veterinary Medicine - Boli Begre Issa.

The head of the delegation, President of the University addressed the members of the Dissertation Board and guests with a welcoming speech. He thanked Russia and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia for qualified training of specialists for the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

The guests made a tour of the department, research laboratories and the Center for Collective Use of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

At the end of the visit, the delegates took part in the solemn graduation ceremony at the Faculty of Science, where one of the members of the delegation, graduate of the Faculty of Science of the Peoples' Friendship University, Ph.D. Gondo Yake made a speech.
