Petition Letter for Migration Registration

The application from the university is submitted for the purpose of migration registration at a private address (while staying outside the RUDN University dormitory).

In this case, it is necessary to register for migration in the territorial department of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Note! The document is provided ONLY to full-time and part-time students.

Citizens of CIS countries must extend their stay (stamp on the back of their migration card) in addition to their registration extension. The state fee is 1,000 rubles.

If the student has gone on academic leave, this information is displayed in the certificate attached to the document.

Required documents:

  • Copy of migration card
  • Detachable part of the notification of arrival (registration)
  • Copy (on both sides) of the detachable part of the arrival notification form (registration)
  • Copy of tuition contract or referral from the Ministry of Education and Science
  • Passport
  • Copy of passport
  • Migration card

Service duration – 1 business day.

In what form is the certificate provided

The application is provided in two versions – electronic (certified with a digital signature) and paper. An electronic document certified with a digital signature is sent to your personal account and to your email address. In this case, a visit to the MFC RUDN University is not required. By law, an electronic document is equivalent to a paper document if you send it electronically. The printed electronic document has no legal force.

A paper document is needed if the electronic format is not accepted at the place of request. You can order it through your personal account lk.rudn.ru. You must pick up the paper document in person at the MFC RUDN University by appointment.

How to request this service?

STEP 1
Download the application “RUDN University” from App Store/Google play or through browser lk.rudn.ru.

STEP 2
Log in with your RUDN ID account (corporate mail).

STEP 3
Go to “Services”, then “Multiservice Center”, then select “Registration”, then select from the list of services available for ordering “Petition Letter for Migration Registration”.

STEP 4
Choose the way to submit documents – electronic filing, or make an appointment for a ready-made document at a convenient date and time for visiting the MFC RUDN.

STEP 5
It is necessary to attach scans of the following documents: an identity document, pages with a visa (if the citizen has a visa stay), or a scan with a border crossing mark (if the citizen has a visa-free stay); a migration card, a tear-off part of the notification form for the arrival of a foreign citizen at the place of stay with the stamp of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the establishment of for migration registration (valid registration).

STEP 6
Select the territorial division of the OVM of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation from the list.

STEP 7
Apply for a service. If you select a document in electronic format, the digitally signed document will be sent to your personal account in PDF format and by e-mail.

If you select a paper document, you must select the date of your visit to the MFC RUDN University for a ready-made letter of application for migration registration.

You can pick up the finished document by contacting the MFC RUDN in person, providing an identity document (Rector’s Order No. 11 dated 16.01.2024).
