The National Workforce Training Fund held the 2nd International conference entitled “Internationalization imperatives” on May 24th, 2012. The conference is being organized by the Russian Council for International affairs and the New Eurasia Foundation with the support of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation. Prominent specialists from the USA, Canada, Russia, several European and Asian countries, representatives of international organizations and associations, such as the International Association of Universities, Association for Academic Cooperation, German Rectors’ Conference, and the International Ranking Experts Group will take part in the conference. In the framework of the 2nd session devoted to nationals strategy of higher education internationalization, the Vice-rector of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia Gulnara A. Krasnova will deliver report “Internationalization of higher education in Russia: development directions”
