7 RUDN projects win in the All-Russian competition of youth projects among educational organizations of higher education and receive grant support

Applications were accepted for 12 nominations: "Support to student self-government", "Support of youth student initiatives", "Patriotic education and intercultural communications", "Science and Innovations", "Volunteering and social design", "Student sport, tourism; culture, art and creativity", "Professional competencies and entrepreneurship", "Student media", "International cooperation", "Student teams " and "Pedagogical teams ".

Daria Belimova, one of the initiators of the project on medical volunteering, head of the Moscow regional branch of "Volunteers-physicians": "In 2018, the All-Russian Volunteer Social Media Volunteer Movement, together with RUDN Medical Institute, is starting to establish an international center for medical volunteering. The project "Creation of a federal program for the development of international medical volunteering for Russian youth" will help prepare Russian volunteers ready to participate in international volunteer programs and humanitarian missions, as well as assist in improving the medical literacy of young people, including the foundations of a healthy lifestyle and first aid. We plan to implement the project in two stages: 1 stage - remote - accessible for everyone (through доброволецроссии.рф ); 2 stage - full-time in the framework of the Final Forum in Moscow at RUDN for 150 best volunteers of the healthcare project. Today, volunteering in the healthcare sector is an effective tool for realizing civic, personal and professional potential of trained educational organizations, medical personnel, and citizens interested in volunteering in health care, regardless of their level of education and social status. We consider it necessary and important to create a unified system for the development of international medical volunteerism in Russia. "

Each competition project was evaluated by 3 federal experts. The examination was held online on the platform of the automated information system "Youth of Russia". All-Russian contest of youth projects among educational organizations of higher education was evaluated by 161 experts on a number of criteria, including relevance and social significance, feasibility, compliance of the project team's experience and competence, innovation and uniqueness, project implementation scope, information openness, publicity and some others.

"The competition is held for the first time in this format, earlier universities were supported only by the RF Ministry of Education and Science. All the budget educational institutions of higher education were able to participate in the All-Russian competition of youth projects. This is an important stage for us and we have received many applications, "said Alexander Bugaev, Head of Rosmolodezh.
