Zabotkin (Alejandro Zabotkin), descendent of the great Russian marshal M.I. Kutuvoz, visited the RUDN University Institute of Foreign Languages. Mr. Zabotkin delivered a lecture “The great Russian marshal M.I. Kutuzov: From the past to the present and future”. While telling about the events of the Patriotic War of 1812, his great descendent, family tree, he emphasized that Russians’ high spirit had become the determining factor in their victory over the enemy.

The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) again has the name of Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who has become a symbol of the African peoples’ struggle for independence. RUDN rose to the 26th position in the UI GreenMetric 2022 ranking and confirmed the status of the “greenest” university in Russia. The ranking includes 1,050 world universities, of which 52 are Russian.
