All-Russia conference “Comparative law and problems of private law management in Russia and abroad”

January 25. At 10.00 in Room 347 of RUDN University main building All-Russia scientific practical conference “Comparative law and problems of private law management in Russia and abroad” will be held. The aim of this conference is to examine the foreign countries experience in civil law and proceeding reforming especially in settlement of disputes – arbitrage (commercial court in Russia), mediation etc. There is certain experience in this area and it has to become a subject of detailed research. Within the conference solution of a number of specific objectives, including consideration of new alternative ways of settlement of disputes - arbitration, mediation, etc. is expected. Special attention will be paid to the detailed characteristic of civil law sources, civil codes provisions of international private law in foreign countries. It is supposed to characterize the system of norms of the arbitration law regulating possibility of application of alternative ways of settlement of disputes in the above-stated countries, and also the system of existing civil law principles and international private law principles. The perspective of alternative ways of settlement of disputes application attracts special attention of economists, scientists, politicians. At the same time in law literature there is a gap which has to be filled. It is a question of research of problems connected with application and execution of decisions passed by means of procedures of mediation etc. This conference makes and essential contribution to solve these problems.
