All-Russian club tournament

February 21-23 in Yaroslavl the All-Russian club tournament of the Association of sports clubs for students in Russia took place. 5 sports teams ant the total of 250 people came to Yaroslavl to participate in these competitions, among them – the team of the RUDN University sports club “Druzhba”. The program of the first days of the competitions included the following disciplines: track and field athletics that consisted of 60-meter run, long jumps, pull-ups for men and press-ups for women, exercise bar bendings, relay-swimming for men and women and also mass games of “bumperball” and “Tamburelo”. After that team competitions on volleyball and table-tennis took place. According to the results of the All-Russian club tournament the athletes of the RUDN University club “Druzhba” successfully won gold pins in track and field and silver pins in swimming. The following members of the RUDN University students’ team participated in the tournament: Artur Melkonyan (Law faculty), Anastasia Ivanova, Karen Kagoryan, Maria Stepucheva (Agriculutral faculty), Vitalyi Shichkin (Faculty of Economics), Anastasia Malkova (Faculty of Science), Zarina Magomedova (Faculty of Ecology), the captain of the team, the president of the sports club “Druzhba” Igor Vladimirovich Miroshnichenko.
