All-Russian Scientific and Practical conference "The student union movement in Russia: dialogue with the authorities, rectors and society" June 2, 2015, in Moscow at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia was held an All-Russian Scientific and Practical conference "The student union movement in Russia: dialogue with the authorities, rectors and society". The founder of the Conference is the national trade union of workers of education and science of the Russian Federation. The Conference was attended by over 150 representatives of trade union organizations from different regions of Russia. The participants of the Conference were given the task to carry up an analysis and professional discussion on the activities of the student union organizations, to consider social, historical and legal aspects of their interaction with civil society and the State, to identify possible prospects for development. The conference began with the opening ceremony. The RUDN University Rector, Vladimir Filippov, made a welcoming speech. He read out the address by the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Livanov, and wished the Conference participants fruitful work. Congratulatory messages from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Trade Union of Education, the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, the Russian association of trade unions were heard during the opening ceremony of the Conference. The Conference was concluded with a plenary session, during which the results of work were summarized and the Resolution was adopted.
