An agreement to open a RUDN Сenter in Ecuador
University administration was very pleased that RUDN graduates supported their Alma Mater so much. The news about the first Center of pre-university training and Russian language courses in Ecuador opened by RUDN was given wide media coverage in that country.
November 23, 2016, an agreement on opening a Сenter of pre-university training and Russian language courses was signed in Quito, Ecuador. It’s based on the foreign language training center of National Polytechnic School. In the future it’s planned to position this Center as regional in Latin America to attract students that are going to participate in training programs before entering RUDN University.
Priority areas in recruitment and joint training of specialists are physical and mathematical, agricultural and biotechnological fields.
Representatives of the Russian Embassy, RUDN graduates and first participants of Russian language courses attended the inauguration of the Center.

The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.

In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
