In September 2016, in the frame of “5 – 100” academic excellence project six RUDN University professors go to Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Jordan and China to teach at Russian language centres and specialized classes.
The key task of the trips is promoting RUDN University brand and educational programs abroad, attracting talented secondary school and university students as well as disseminating information on studies and research at RUDN.
Promoting Russian language in the world is RUDN important strategic task. Since its foundation Peoples’ friendship university of Russia has been improving pre-university training methods and bringing methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language to specialized centres in foreign countries.
The working program also aims to support associations of University Alumni, establish and develop contacts with research-educational institutions and gather information on educational policy in different regions of the world.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
Tamara Ghazaryan is known to many at RUDN University. She “races,” as she herself says, around the university, participates in a dozen student events and can get to almost every location herself. Only a few locations need the help of her friends or team. But it was not always so.
