Conference "Admiral Ushakov. Historical Memory and modern significances: upbringing, education and activities." dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Admiral Ushakov’s birth February 24, at the Faculty of Humanitarian and social sciences, the All-Russian public movement of support of the fleet, together with RUDN University, held a conference "Admiral Ushakov. Historical Memory and modern significances: upbringing, education and activities." dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Admiral Ushakov’s birth. The Conference was attended by representatives of the Russian Navy, the Maritime Border Coast Guard, the Marine (transport), Fishery and River fleets, the shipbuilding industry, the marine science, the Russian Orthodox Church, representatives of state authorities, of the Russian Military Historical Society, the Russian Geographical Society, representatives of several Russian regions, of some public, scientific, entrepreneurial organizations, veterans and youth. The Conference, which is relevantly connecting the past and the present with the example of an outstanding personality of Admiral Fyodr Ushakov, promoted public education and formation of authentic people's respect for the outstanding personalities of Russia and of truly patriotic education of Russian citizens based on worthy examples of great people.
