Delegation of the Spanish University visits RUDN

February 5, 2014, Rector of RUDN University V. Filippov received a delegation of the University named after Alfonso X the Wise (Madrid, Spain). On the part of the Spanish delegation the event was attended by the President of the University Mr. Jesus Nenez Velazquez; Vice-Rector for International Relations, Ms. Dr. Iris Nenez-Trebol; Senior official for Public Relations Mr. Alfredo Urdaci. Also the meeting was attended by the Attache for the questions of Education of the Embassy of Spain in Russia Mrs. Dr. Tatiana Drozdov Diez . During the meeting, an agreement on the cooperation for the development of such joint priority areas as engineering and medical sciences, tourism and linguistics was obtained. Particular attention was paid to the development of joint educational programs , as well as strengthening of the academic mobility of students and faculty members . At the end of the meeting , the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities . Representatives of the University of Alfonso X the Wise will come with the next visit to the Peoples’ Friendship University in June 2014.
