Green Week at the Ecological faculty

September 30 – October 4. The Green Week festival will take place at the Ecological faculty. The event aimed at the development of green culture and ideas of sustainable development is held for the first time in the history of the faculty. The target audience – students of the faculty. The aim is to draw public attention to the problem of power - and resource-saving, and also to promote ideas of a healthy lifestyle. "Green week" will be organized by the initiative group of students of the Ecological faculty. In the frame of the event mini-lectures, master classes, displays of short films, exhibitions will be carried out daily. During the whole week recycling operations will be held. Speakers from the public ecological organization "EKA" and the Moscow youth center are specially invited. Green week, according to the organizers, has special relevance because the RF government has announce the Year of Ecology. The Week is a good start for realizing students’ initiatives and ideas.
