Interaction with Mexican graduates and dissemination of information about the University. The results of RUDN University delegation visit to Mexico City

In September RUDN delegation was in Mexico City (Mexico). The main purpose of this visit was interaction with graduates of RUDN University, Russian and Soviet universities, as well as dissemination of information about the University among students.

During the meeting with Mexican graduates its participants were familiarized with the modern achievements of RUDN University in educational and scientific activities like join of RUDN University into the project 5-100, inclusion in various international rankings. They also learned about the opportunities for foreigners to get higher education of different levels in the University.

Of great interest was the information about RUDN University activity, focused on employment support of foreign graduates of the University at home. The participants of the meeting were informed about the efforts that were made to establish cooperation between RUDN University and the Russian-Mexican Chamber of Commerce. Also they were informeded about the signing of the contract for employment support of those Mexicans who graduated from RUDN University with honors. The signed contract involves joint activities, practical trainings and recruitment from among RUDN University graduates within determined competencies.

The delegation also presented RUDN University at the international educational exhibition "QS World Grad School Tour" in Mexico City. The exposition attracted wide attention among Mexico students, parents of high school graduates, members of the public. Of particular interest was the presentation of Zoilo Mendoza, who graduated the Faculty of Engineering of RUDN University in 1966. He spoke about the advantages of Russian higher education and shared his impressions about the wonderful student years spent at the University.

This visit was organized in the framework of series of events aimed to improve the competitiveness of the leading Russian universities (project 5-100).
