Interuniversity student's Festival "Moscow Made Us Friends"

Interuniversity student's Festival "Moscow Made Us Friends" November 12-14, Students from higher educational institutions of Moscow will participate in the Festival "Moscow Made Us Friends" in RUDN University Motto of the festival: "The world through culture". Traditionally the festival is dated for two holidays: International Day for tolerance and International Student Day. The 16th of November in acknowledged as International Day for tolerance (International Day for Tolerance) and it has been celebrated since 1955 all around the world, when UNESCO member states adopted the Declaration of the principles of tolerance. Since November 17, 1946, the International Student Day has been celebrated. Within the Festival in the hall of RUDN University main building (6, Miklukho-Maklaya str.) 24 national exhibitions of the countries of the former USSR and territorial subjects of the Russian Federation will take place. At the same time master classes on cooking dishes of ethnic cuisine and round tables will take place. On November 12, at 2.00 p.m. a round table "Dialogue of languages and cultures in the XXI century", "Variety of cultures - a factor of unity of the people" will be held in the Rectorate Assembly hall. A collection of reports and performances of participating students of the Festival will be published. The gala concert including performances of collectives of student's associations of the countries of the former USSR and territorial subjects of the Russian Federation will become the culmination of the Festival. A concert will take place on November 14, in the Assembly hall of RUDN University main building at 5.00 p.m.
