Meeting of the Coordination Counci

The meeting of the Coordination Council (CC) of the Network University of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS NU) June 18, 2015, a meeting of the Coordination Council (CC) of the Network University of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS NU) took place at RUDN University. The event was attended by leaders of the partner universities SU CIS of the Consortium Network University. The Director of information-analytical department of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, A. Zavarzin and assistant of the Presidential Directorate for Interregional Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, V. Bocharnikov greeted the participants of the meeting. Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Larisa Efremova, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Russian Ministry Boris Zhelezov and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS countries Counsellor Alexander Goncharov made a report on the results and perspectives of the CIS NU. During the meeting, members of the Coordination Council approved the work plan for the 2015/2016 academic year, signed memorandums and agreements on the accession of the partner universities to new areas of training, by unanimous vote elected Peoples' Friendship University headed by Rector Vladimir Filippov, the parent organization of the Coordination Council of the CIS NU for 3 year. An important outcome of the meeting can be considered a decision on the development and certification of CIS Network University along with the diplomas of the two partner universities.
