Moscow has made us friends

The V International Intercollegiate Student Festival “Moscow has made us friends” was held on November, 13-15 in Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. The festival was dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance and the International Day of Students and was held under the motto: “We are different, but we are equal!” RUDN University students from CIS countries and subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as students of other universities, took part in the festival. The main building’s hall became a site for national exhibitions. Round table talks on the topic “My fellow-citizens in historical and cultural life of Moscow” were carried out at the conference hall of the rector’s office. A collection of students’ works was published for the event. The most exciting part of the festival was the concert, which took place at the main building’s assembly hall. At the festival’s closing ceremony Sinitsin A.A, the Deputy Prefect of the South-West autonomous district of Moscow, and Gladush A.D., RUDN University vice-rector for work with students, took the floor. 19 creative groups and performers from RUDN University and other universities of the South-West autonomous district of Moscow took part in the concert with numbers reflecting the theme “Moscow in the rhythms of the world”.
