The manual is recommended for teaching Russian to international students at pre-university level in the second semester. The content corresponds to “Educational program of the Russian language for international students. The first certificate level.(M.2001)”.Special difficulties of oral and written speech are reviewed.The material of the book is divided into 12 chapters and allows to receive the general idea about the syntactic system of the Russian language-from the word group to the syntax of a simple and compound sentence. Each grammatical theme includes detailed annotation and specially made exercises. There are some texts which contain everyday vocabulary and vocabulary of the Humanities. It doesn't exclude the usage of the text edition by the students of the other subjects. This manual is intended for students of nontechnical lines of study for whom language is the main tool for learning the trade, but can also be used in groups of thee- semester course or at courses of Russian as a foreign language.
