New monograph on the problems of pathological processes in the heart

New monograph on the problems of pathological processes in the heart "Programmed cell death in heart pathology" monograph by Blagonravov M. L., Azova M. M. and Frolov V.A was published. The study is based on the results of 7 years' joint experimental work of the department of general pathology and pathological physiology and the department of biology and general genetics of RUDN University Medical faculty ("Littera" publishing house). The monograph is devoted to the role and place of the programmed cell death in development of various pathological processes in the heart, for example, focal ischemia of the left ventricle, toxic damage of myocardium, acute and chronic haemo-dynamic overload of the left ventricle. The edition contains a large amount of illustrative material, including tables, schedules and colored photos of macro and micro preparations. This study is for the experts who study problems of pathology of cardiovascular system, students, interns and graduate students of medical universities.
