On May, 18 Rector of the RUDN University V.M. Filippov had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India HE Mr Ajai Malhotra. During the meeting the issues on cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India in sphere of education in general along with Indian students’ life and study at the RUDN University particularly were discussed. During the meeting Rector of the RUDN University noticed, that the University started to teach Indian students from the very beginning of the University establishment in 1960. The First foreign state figure, who greeted establishment of the University, was Indian Prime- Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Since that time 2008 student graduated university at different levels, among them 100 PhD, and 2 Doctorate. HE Mr Ajai Malhotra expressed his concern on increasing of number of students from India study medicine and engineering at the RUDN University.
