RUDN University and Lebanese University signs the Cooperation Agreement

RUDN University and Lebanese University signed the Cooperation Agreement September 10, 2015, a delegation of the Lebanese University consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Mr. Ghassan El Kluki and the Director of the branch in Tyre, a graduate of the RUDN University's Faculty of Economics and Law in 1993 Mr. Ahmad Ali Zerkota. The purpose of the visit was the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the RUDN University's Faculty of Economics and the Lebanese University's Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The agreement was signed during the talks with the RUDN University vice-rector for International Relations Ms. O. Andreeva. The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the RUDN University's Faculty of Economics Mr. Y. Moseikin, RUDN University Faculty of Engineering' Head of Chair of the operation of vehicles Mr. Ramzi Abu Nij, the Head of RUDN University's Department of work with Alumni Mr. V. Chety. The Cooperation Agreement involves the organization of students' exchange within the curriculum of RUDN University and Lebanese University economic faculties, joint research, publications in specialized editions in Russia and Lebanon, the development of joint educational programs, exchange of literature and research base, organization and carrying out of international scientific events (conferences, round tables, working groups, etc.). The agreement included the items provided by the Lebanese legislation. Another important step in the strengthening of educational and scientific cooperation could be a teachers' exchange. The Lebanese side expressed its readiness right now to send 1 or 2 teachers and welcome 1 or 2 Russian experts to work and exchange knowledge and experience. At the end of the talks the sides exchanged the gifts and mutual wishes of further fruitful work. The visit of the Lebanese delegation to the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia continued by the excursion to Educational and Scientific Innovation Mission Control Center, opened at the University in February 2015. The outcome of the negotiations was an agreement on the preparation of the draft of further cooperation.
