RUDN University is organizing VII Competition of School Projects

The annual Competition of School Projects "Science starts from school" will be held on the 18th of May, 2017 in RUDN University, at the Faculty of the Russian Language and General Educational Disciplines, within the framework of Project of Competitiveness Enhancement of Leading Russian Universities among Global Research and Education Centers (Project "5-100"). The address of event is Moscow, Miklukho-Maklaya Str. 10/3.

The main aim of Competition is to identify and support talented children, to demonstrate and popularize achievements of Secondary and High School pupils in the field of scientific creation and also experience of work of educational institutions in the organization of research and project activities among pupils.

7-11 grades pupils from Moscow and Moscow region are kindly invited to participate in the Competition of School Projects, if their research interest and creative activity are focused on profound and diversified studying the following disciplines:

- humanitarian section;

- socio-economic section;

- natural science section;

- biomedical section;

- technical section.

The subject of review at the Contest is research projects, prepared by pupils and presupposing an awareness of pupil about modern conditions of the field of research, knowing the methodology of experiment, existence of data about own research, their analysis, generalization and conclusions.

The Competition-2017 is strictly held in the form of individual primacy.

The Contest assumes public speeches of participants with the results of their own research or inventive work within the frameworks of specified sections.

The regulations of speech pressumes:

- the public defense of reserach or inventive project, lasting till 7 minutes;

- discussion, lasting from 3 to 5 minutes.

The framed projects must be represented to the Jury members at the Contest. Public Speech of participant is estimated according to the criteria of assessment of defense.

Winners and prize-winners of each section are awarded with Cups and Diplomas of the I, II, III degree, other participants will get the certificate of participation.

The expert commission of the Contest of School Projects is represented by the leading lecturers from the profile faculties and institutions of RUDN University.
