RUDN University takes the first place among Russian HEIs in QS international rating in the share of international students. September 13, Russian HEIs got QS World University Ranking awards
September 13, Russian universities got QS World University Ranking awards “Russia today” international press center. Among the winners- RUDN University being first in the nomination “The biggest share of international students” (“Share of international students” index).
“This year 130 international experts voted for us – this is substantial breakthrough for our university”, said Yulia Ebzeeva, Rector’s advisor for ratings. She also stressed that 2016 is an important milestone since RUDN University has become a second Russian university to get four QS stars in different directions.
Zoya Zaitseva, QS Regional director for Europe and Central Asia congratulated RUDN on another successful year in the ratings and said that she’s happy about the dynamics and the work of RUDN team. “It is not often that a university team works 24/7”, she added.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
Tamara Ghazaryan is known to many at RUDN University. She “races,” as she herself says, around the university, participates in a dozen student events and can get to almost every location herself. Only a few locations need the help of her friends or team. But it was not always so.
