Solo concert of professor Trofimova

May 2, G.N.Trofimova, RUDN University Professor of the Department of Mass Communications at the Philological Faculty, gave a solo concerto - a musical and literary program “Russian Soul of Sergey Rakhmaninov”, at the Russian Scientific and Cultural Center in Luxembourg. On May 2, the 140th anniversary of a Great Russian composer S.V.Rakhmaninov’s birth was celebrated at the Russian Scientific and Cultural Center in Luxembourg. The high point of the event became RUDN University Professor of the Department of Mass Communications at the Philological Faculty G.N.Trofimova’s solo concerto - a musical and literary program “Russian Soul of Sergey Rakhmaninov”. The concerto was organized with the assistance of The Central Bank of Luxembourg and it drew a wide public attention. Original combination of music and poetic word, interesting RUDN University students’ works, which accompanied Historical and Literary annotation, emotional performance of S.V.Rakhmaninov’s compositions by Galina Trofimova made a great impression upon the audience. This event made a weighty contribution to the popularization of the Russian culture and creating of the Russian and RUDN University positive image in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The Russian Scientific and Cultural Center expressed its deep gratitude to the Professor G.N.Trofimova for her high professionalism and a wonderful performance and expressed its hope for a long-term and effective cooperation with her as a representative of RUDN University.
