Space is closer than it seems: faster, safer, cheaper

30 May, RUDN Engineering Academy held the largest conference in the world on dynamics and control of space systems. Experts from 18 countries including USA, China, Canada, Great Britain, Brazil, Italy, France and Israel, met to share experience in practical solution of space research issues.

3d IAA Conference on Dynamics and Control of Space Systems, DyCoSS’2017 gathers researchers from USA, Italy, Brazil, Malaysia and other countries at RUDN.

Leading world experts of space flight mechanics gathered in Moscow at the 3d IAA Conference on Dynamics and Control of Space Systems, DyCoSS’2017, held by the International Academy of Astronautics, IAA. In the frame of the conference 8 technical sessions will be held.

Beside plenary reports researchers from the USA (David Spencer, Kathleen Howell, Roberto Furfaro and Brij Agrawal), Japan (Tetsuo Yasaka), Canada (Arun Misra), Brazil (Antonio Prado) and Russia (Alexander Yefremov) will present Highlight lectures, dedicated to cleaning orbital space from space garbage, optimization of space flight trajectory, processing sputnik shots, logistics and technology of flights to the Moon etc.

Participants come from Brazil, Great Britain, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Malaysia, Holland, Portugal, Russia, USA, Turkey, France, Japan and other countries. Reports will be delivered by researchers from TOP 400 QS World University Rankings universities, among them Penn State University (USA), Purdue University (USA), University of Arizona (USA), Kyushu University (Japan), University Putra (Malaysia), Tsinghua University (China), Technicon University (Israel), McGill University (Canada), Milano Polytechnic University (Italy), University of Rome “La Sapienze” (Italy), Sao-Paolo University (Brazil) etc.

The first IAA Workshop on Space Flight Mechanics will take place at the Engineering Academy in 2018.
