The VI Week of Education of member-states of the SCO “Global education”

The VI Week of Education of member-states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization “Global education” will be held in Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in Moscow, on May, 22-25. The representatives of the leading higher education institutions of the University of the SCO, education governing bodies representatives of SCO member-states, representatives of the permanent expert working group of SCO member-states on cooperation in the field of education will take part in the VI Week of Education. Traditionally, this representative international forum is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. On the basis of the provisions of the agreement between the governments of the SCO member-states on cooperation in the field of education reached on the 15th of June 2006 as well as resolutions adopted in the course of the meeting of the experts on cooperation in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Peoples’ Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan held on March 27-28 2013 in Beijing, the participants of the Week will discuss problems connected with large expansion of educational and scientific activities of the SCO University as well as with current situation and changes of national education systems of the SCO member-states. The extended session of the Rectors’ Council of leading higher education institutes of the SCO University, the session of the permanent expert working group of SCO member-states on cooperation in the field of education, round tables on different trainings at the SCO University – “Nanotechnologies”, “Teaching science”, “Regional studies”, “IT-technologies”, “Ecology”, “Economics”, “Power engineering” are to be held in the framework of the Week. The key event of the VI Week of Education of the SCO member-states is signing of the agreement on mutual masters training at the SCO University. The final protocol will be signed at the end of the Week.
