The volunteers team "The wind of change"

The volunteers team "The wind of change" helped in the organization of the Russian stage of international competition "Formula Student", and "The Meridian of friendship" became an official partner of "Formula Student". The Russian international competition "Formula Student" was held for the first time on the racetrack "ADM" from 4 to 7 September 2014. Only one volunteer team was selected by the organizers of the "Formula. Student" competition - the volunteers team of our University " The Meridian of friendship" , so the RUDN University Center for Youth Student Initiatives became an official partner of "Formula Student". The students of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia helped in the event’s organization designing and preparing the adjacent motor-racing circuit ground for the competitions, accompanying the teams, assisting in the technical inspection, registering and meeting the guests and participants of the competitions, guiding children at excursions and observing order. The RUDN University volunteers provided the event media coverage. The team work on the competitions shooting was highly appraised for its professionalism and work quality. 28 university students from Russia, Georgia, Syria, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Mongolia, Congo, Gambia, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, Mozambique, Haiti, Nigeria, Mali, Somalia, Dominican Republic and Nepal helped in organizing this major event. For active participation and assistance in the organization of international competitions “Formula Student” by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow thanked RUDN University “Meridian of Friendship” Centre for Youth Student Initiatives.
