The week of the Russian language and Russian culture in Great Britain

The week of the Russian language and Russian culture in Great Britain. October 17-23, the week of the Russian language and Russian culture took place in London. RUDN University’s Institute of supplementary professional education won the competition on the organization and arrangement of methodological events for teachers and lectures of the Russian language in France and Great Britain, held by the Federal Agency on the Commonwealth of Independent States’ affairs among compatriots living abroad and on the international humanitarian cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). The week’s program included methodological events for teachers, compatriots and everybody interested in learning the Russian language: lectures, master classes, scientific-methodological seminars, round tables. Within the framework of the events literary-musical programs took place. Russian experts held individual consultations on the issues of teaching the Russian language, psychology, pedagogics and intercultural communication’s issues within the specified period. The events’ participants could study new innovative textbooks and programs.
