“Time to study in Russia”. Seminar on the development of international educational cooperation in China

25 April, Authorities of 19 schoools of the province participated in the IV Russian- Chinese seminar on the development of international educational cooperation in Taiyuan.
Head of Department of international links of Taiyuan noted success of the project “Tme to study in Russia” and its impact on the links between young people of the two countries. He said that the project promotes international communication in education and academic exchange of teachers to improve the quality of teaching Chinese students who want to study in Russia.
During 3 last years more than 140 school students of the province had an opportunity to study in the leading Russian universities. In summer 2016, a private school opened in Taiyuan for school students to study Russian, maths and physics. Since 2017, an invited professor from Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic university has been working in the school. After the course school students will be able to start major programs at Russian universities without having to do a preparatory course in Russia.
In the course of the event the head of the Russian delegation and RUDN representative told about the realization of the project in the world, its hidtory in China, the system of Russian education and the opportunities that winners of the Olympiads have.
The Chinese party highly estimated the assistance of Russian and Chinese ministries who allocate budget places for the winners of “Time to study in Russia”Olympiad and stressed that schools of the province should know more about Russian universities and study and accommodation rules.
The Russian delegation made presentations in two schools where about 500 students asked a lot of questions about safety, study terms and conditions and university slogans.
26 April, 76 people from 23 schools of two towns participated in maths testing.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
