   Yesterday’s school children who today have become serious first-year students met in the famous RUDN places- near the fountains in the main square and in the patio in Orjonikidze street on a sunny day. We asked students of different faculties about the university and learnt that RUDN is not just a university but a “second home where friendship rules”, “a place exciting to study at”, “a special world and lots of like-minded people”. RUDN gives an opportunity to communicate with people from all over the world, understand different mentalities and share your culture, become better and get a profession, realize your dreams and sometimes even meet the one you will love.

   At the ceremony the Deans of the faculties and the guests congratulated the best graduates, wished luck to the new students talking about the university mission, its international character and the accent on the international market. When asked why they had chosen RUDN University international students didn’t think twice saying that Russian education is valued all over the world, they feel home at RUDN and make new friends from numerous countries.

   International students are given a very warm welcome at RUDN- their friends are ready to help with home tasks and show them their native cities and towns, take them around Moscow and show them the best shawarma in Moscow- on RUDN campus.

  It’s a festive day in RUDN today. It is so nice to understand that we are witnessing the emergence of a new generation of students who will be in charge of our future.
