VII International Conference on Differential and Functional Differential Equations

August 22-29, RUDN University (faculty of Science), Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Lomonosov Moscow State University organized the VII International Conference on Differential and Functional Differential Equations. The first DFDE conference was held in 1994. More than 100 mathematicians from 11 countries took part in it. Since 1999, the conference has been held every 3 years. The second time in its history the conference was considered a satellite of the International Congress of Mathematicians (Seoul, Korea, August 13-21, 2014) in 2014. An ICM report is one of the highest recognitions in the mathematical community. 14 plenary Congress spokesmen took part in the DFDE-2014 conference. An international workshop “Spatial-temporal dynamic systems” was organized in the frame of the conference. More than 90 young mathematicians had an opportunity to present their mathematical and interdisciplinary research results and discuss them with leading experts. More than 200 reports were made during the conference, 35 of them were 45-minute plenary reports. More than 180 persons were listeners of online conference broadcast. Mathematicians from 25 countries of Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, North and Latin America took part in the DFDE-2014 conference.
