Visit of His Excellency Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in the RF Mr. Mandisi Bongani Mabuto Mpahlwa to RUDN University September 18, 2014. His Excellency Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in the RF and Belarus Mr. Mandisi Bongani Mabuto Mpahlwa visited RUDN University. The Ambassador's visit to RUDN University is connected with the preparation for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of freedom of the Republic of South Africa in the Russian Federation. At a meeting with the RUDN University Rector, Mr. V.M.Filippov, Mr. Mandisi Mpahlwa informed that the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Moscow is planning to hold a Week of freedom of the Republic of South Africa in Russia. The program of the Week features a visit to Moscow of the Minister of the international relations and cooperation of the Republic of South Africa and also the national exhibition of the Republic of South Africa, Festival of the South African cinema, concert with the participation of actors from the Republic of South Africa. Mr. Mandisi Mpahlwa suggested that RUDN University students participate in the events. The offer was accepted with gratitude. The parties agreed to create a joint working group for the preparation of festive events on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Freedom of the Republic of South Africa from among representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa and RUDN University.
