Visit of Mireya Agüero de Corrales, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Honduras to RUDN University

October 15, 2013 the delegation of the Republic of Honduras headed by the Foreign Minister Ms. Mireya Agüero de Corrales visited the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The meeting was initiated by Honduras and was held in the frame of the official visit of the delegation dated to the inauguration of the Embassy of the Republic in Moscow after a short term interruption of the relations between Russia and Honduras in 2009. Ms.Corrales is an eminent state and political figure in Hinduras, career diplomat and a known expert in the field of international relations. RUDN University Rector V.Filippov and Ms.Corrales met to talk about the potential cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries. V. Filippov and Ms. Corrales also spoke at the meeting of the RUDN University teachers and students. Both addresses aroused a great interest of the audience and caused a large number of questions to the honorary guest of RUDN University, who answered all of them. The Honduras delegation`s visit to RUDN University proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
