RUDN and Harvard will analyze economic processes in countries with developing markets together
At the end of 2016, the Department of economic and mathematic modeling opened the International Centre for Emerging Markets Research. The project involves scholars of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies of Harvard University (USA).
«The team researches economic growth, asset flows, power security, energy efficiency and foreign economic interests of Russia in the world markets of hi-tech production», says Yury Moseikin, Dean of the Economic Faculty.
«The Center does expertise on priority international projects aimed at business development and contributing to the economic growth of Russia and other countries with emerging markets as well as organizes thematic conferences and workshops with foreign and Russian partners», notes Vladimir Matyushok, Head of Department.
Among priority directions of the Center – elaboration of manuals reflecting research results and their introduction in teaching courses.
The team comprises RUDN academics and best young researchers as well as invited specialists, among them – Bruno Sergio, publisher of the Scopus journals «International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies» and «International Journal of Trade and Global Markets».
The presentation of the Center will be April 10-12, 2017, in Harvard University in the frame of «New reality and Russian markets» seminar.
RUDN University is entering the final stage of its 2026 admission campaign. International applicants continue to submit their applications, demonstrating strong interest in the university’s academic programs. Starting from August 10, the second Online RUDN University Olympiad is held for foreign citizens wishing to enroll in 2020 to study at RUDN University under the bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s programs. The winners of the Olympiad can study in the chosen major at the expense of the budget of the Russian Federation, prize-winners get a tuition discount.
